Records Smashed By Crusaders In Open Meet |

A hardy band of Linslade Crusaders collected a mass of PBs, club records and regional times when they took part in the competitive Milton Keynes level 2 Open Meet at the weekend. Entry times to the gala were tough so for the 12 team members who took part they had to up the ante even further and they did not disappoint. |

A determined squad from Linslade Crusaders put in tremendous individual and relay performances on Saturday, despite finishing fifth overall in round two of the 2009 Arena National League competition, division three. Facing tough competition, among them local rivals Leighton Buzzard. The squad put in sterling efforts and had great support from each other and fans in the gallery at Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre |

Once Again It's time for our Crusaders Annual Presentation Evening with an opportunity to meet and quiz swimmers David Carry and Kerry-Anne Payne(Olympic and World Champion). Swimming is not an easy sport. Natural talent obviously helps but to be successful you really do need to put in hours of training not only to hone your technique but to build up your stamina too. Under the careful tutelage of Head Coach Adrian Smith, a squad of 50 travelled east to enjoy (sic) intensive swim and land training in Norfolk over the October half term. |
