Crusaders victorious in Bletchley C Grade Gala

On Saturday evening, a team from Crusaders competed in a C Grade time-bound gala at Stantonbury hosted Dunstable Swimming Club.

After just three events, Crusaders took the lead, a position they maintained throughout the evening, eventually winning by a clear margin of sixteen points.

Final results were:

1st: Crusaders 196 points

Joint 2nd: Newport Pagnell & St Neots 180 points

4th: Letchworth 162 points

5th: Bletchley 124 points

Team Captain Karen Boud said “The team did really well and for once we did not incur any speeding tickets as most of the swimmers achieved we times we expected. Everyone swam well and the three first places and eighteen second places helped us to victory”.

1st places went to:

Girls 12/u 50m fly - Heloise Lee

Boys 14/u 50m Back - Stuart Ranson

Girls 14/u 4x50 F/S relay - Rosy Baker, Leah Andrew, Sarah Marriott, Leonie Moore

The twelve personal bests were achieved by: Elizabeth Ranson (2), Andrew Fell (2), Heloise Lee, Tom Henderson, Leonie Moore, Emma James, Callum Connew, Alex Winter, James Bolton and Sarah Marriott.
