On Saturday 13^th June a handful of Crusaders swimmers made their way over to the LBSC Summer B Grade Open Meet held at Stantonbury Campus in Milton Keynes.

The day got off to a great start with Matt Dent winning Gold in the 1^st Event  the Boys 15-16yrs  200m Free, he didn’t stop there adding another two gold for the 100m Back and 100m Breaststroke,  and  a 4^th place medal for the 100m Fly.

 His Sister Lucy Dent also had a great day coming home with 3 Medals and 2 Speeding Tickets. Lucy won Gold in the Girls 13-14 yrs 100m fly and 100m Breaststroke and a silver in the 100m Backstroke.

Crusaders medal haul continued  with Isobel Jones winning Gold in the  Girls 11-12 yrs 100m Free  Silver in the 200m IM and a 4^th place medal for 100m Backstroke, she also came home with a speeding ticket in the 200m achieving a huge PB of  over 10 seconds. Daisy Molyneaux was they only other Crusaders swimmer to take part and she just missed out on a 4^th place medal coming 5^th in the Girls 9-10 yr Backstroke. Over all the squad achieved 8 PB’s and 10 Medals

The Crusaders Coach Kevin Molyneaux said "this was a fun and friendly Open meet run very well by LBSC and Crusaders swimmers swam fantastically".
